1min ("we," "us") operates a random video-chat and matching app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect the email address and password you sign up with — or, if you use Google to sign in, your name and email from your Google account. We also collect:

• Your birthday, to confirm you're 18 or older.
• A live selfie photo, taken once during signup to verify your age. This photo is sent directly to Amazon Rekognition, a third-party face-analysis service, which estimates an age range. We do not store this photo — only the resulting age estimate and a timestamp are saved to your account.
• A profile photo you choose to upload, stored so it can be shown to your matches.
• Profile details you enter: gender, who you're interested in meeting, your intent, a short bio, occupation, location (as free text, not precise coordinates), and interest tags.
• Chat messages you send to a match, and whether they've been read.
• Video and audio during a call, streamed live between you and the other person through Daily.co, a third-party video infrastructure provider. Calls are not recorded by us.
• Reports and blocks you file against another user, and any that are filed against you.
• Standard technical information collected automatically by our hosting provider (like IP address and browser type), the same as almost any website.

How we use it

We use this information to run the app: creating your account, matching you with people who meet your stated preferences, verifying you're old enough to use the app, delivering messages and calls, and keeping the community safe by acting on reports and blocks. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your chat messages or call content for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with the vendors that make the app work, and nothing else:

• Supabase hosts our database, authentication, and file storage.
• Amazon Web Services (Rekognition) analyzes your verification selfie for an age estimate, without retaining it on our end.
• Daily.co provides the video/audio infrastructure for calls.
• Other users only ever see what your profile settings choose to show them — never your email, password, or verification photo.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to investigate a safety report.

How long we keep it

We keep your profile, messages, and match history for as long as your account exists. Your verification selfie is never retained in the first place — only the pass/fail estimate is. If you delete your account, your profile, matches, messages, reports you've filed, and blocks are permanently deleted; we don't offer a way to recover a deleted account.

Your choices

• Edit your profile at any time from the Profile tab.
• Block someone so you're never matched with them again.
• Delete your account permanently from Profile → Delete account. This cannot be undone.
• Report a problem from the "Report" button during a call — every report is reviewed.

Age requirement

1min is for adults only. We verify age using a combination of the birthday you provide and a live selfie analyzed for an estimated age range — this is a best-effort check, not a guarantee, and we remove any account we later learn belongs to someone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
